Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti praised his team for winning the Spanish Super Cup final on Sunday but criticized Vinicius Jr. and Jude Bellingham for taunting a well-defeated and limp FC Barcelona side.
Los Blancos went 2-0 up inside 10 minutes thanks to a stunning double from Vinicius.
Robert Lewandowski pulled one back for the Catalans around the half hour mark, only for the winger to complete his hat trick from the penalty spot which Barca never recovered from.
Following the 4-1 victory that made him Madrid's second-most successful coach tied with Zinedine Zidane on 11 trophies, Ancelotti confessed that he didn't expect a flood of goals so soon.
"We made good use of the high line, with Vini inspired on the counter [attack]. It was a tough game. The result is too much for how Barcelona played. At 3-1 it was level. At 4-1 they have lowered their arms a little. We used the counter-attack too much when we made it 2-0, but we're happy," Ancelotti said.
On Vinicius, Ancelotti remarked that the Br azilian "played very well" and "needed two or three games to get back to his best".
He didn't, however, like the taunting seen from the 23-year-old and made a point of mentioning this.
"That's what I've told him. He and Bellingham have done it. Don't do it, we don't need it," Ancelotti demanded.
Later, to Real Madrid TV, Ancelotti said he was "happy" to win an 11th title but highlighted that "we have to fight to win the 12th".
"It was a special night, but there are a lot of special nights at Madrid. That's the strength of this club," he added.
"The team is good, all the players. We're motivated and we're in a good dynamic. I'm happy for the title and let's look forward," Ancelotti concluded.
After flying back from Saudi Arabia, Madrid will focus on continuing the defense of its Copa del Rey title with a last 16 meeting against crosstown rivals Atletico Madrid.
Ancelotti's men beat Diego Simeone's side 5-3 on Wednesday, in a thrilling Super Cup semi final which required extra time.
