Real Madrid seems poised to secure LOSC Lille’s Leny Yoro this summer.
Despite interest from Liverpool, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain, the teenager rejects anyone that isn’t the Spanish giants.
Yoro has already showcased his talent by playing in 44 matches during the 2023-24 season. This demonstrates that he’s ready to take on a starting center-back role at a top European club, where the pressure to perform is intense.
With Yoro’s contract expiring in 2025 and his desire to join Real Madrid, the Spanish side want to secure the teenager on favorable terms regarding the transfer fee.
Nonetheless, Lille might be receiving a fee that they find suitable for Yoro. According to MARCA’s José Félix Díaz, Real Madrid are now optimistic about reaching a deal with Lille for the transfer of Leny Yoro, expected to be around €40 million plus add-ons.
This fee is higher than a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, which revealed that Real Madrid only want to pay Lille a €20 million fixed fee for Yoro.
Moreover, MARCA also noted that Liverpool, PSG, and even Manchester United were all prepared to pay the price that Les Dogues have set for the player, which is €40 million. Nonetheless, if reports are correct, Real Madrid seems willing to meet Lille’s demand.
