For years, Enzo Fernandez has been linked with a move to Real Madrid. This rumoured interest goes back to the 2022 World Cup, which Argentina won and he was named the Young Player of the Tournament. Back then, he was at Benfica but would go on to join Chelsea in the winter transfer window soon after that.

There is no doubt that Fernandez is a key player for Chelsea. He has faced his fair share of criticism over the years but seems to be in a good spot right now. Let's hope that he can maintain this level moving forward, if not take another step on his upward trajectory.
Also, it is good to see that he is not chasing a move to Real Madrid, like many players seem to do. He has already spent three years at Chelsea and has the potential to develop into a club legend one day, if he ends up playing an instrumental role in taking the Blues back to the top of the footballing mountain, which would be winning the Premier League and the Champions League.
