Journalist Jose Luis Sanchez has said via El Chiringuito TV that Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, is very clear that the likes of Nico Paz and Mario Martin will replace the injured Vinicius Jr. and Eduardo Camavinga in the team.
Real Madrid have been dealt a massive blow during the international break, with both Vinicius and Camavinga, sustaining serious injuries while away with their respective national teams.
It is important to note that the team is already without goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and defender Eder Militao for almost the rest of the season while Aurelien Tchouameni is also out for the rest of 2023.
Add to it the absence of Dani Ceballos and Arda Guler and Los Blancos now find themselves in deep trouble.
On the other hand, even Kepa Arrizabalaga and Jude Bellingham are struggling with issues of their own but the magnitude of the duo’s condition is not that severe.
As a result of these recurring problems, Ancelotti is most likely to turn his head towards the youth academy as it has been made very clear that the team would not bring any new players in January to overcome this problem.
It is to be noted that both Nico Paz and Mario Martin have already played for Real Madrid’s first team, with the former also appearing in the UEFA Champions League match against SC Braga.
One good thing about this 19-year-old youth talent is the fact that although his preferred position is in the centre, he can also operate as a winger, which makes him an absolute coup for the team.
As for Martin, we have already reported the 19-year-old could well be an option for Ancelotti as a pivot. Now, the manager does have the likes of Toni Kroos and David Alaba to cover the position, but the 19-year-old could occupy this space in the event of absolute necessity.
