Bamako, Mali, as part of a campaign that supports children's rights around the world.
Casillas, 28, is member of Plan Spain, an organisation who aim to promote the rights of poor children around the world.
According to Malian newspaper L'Essor, during his visit to one of the world's poorest countries, the Spain international goalkeeper will visit children in Sanambele, a village in the rural community of Dialakoroba, which is around 62 kilometres from the capital city of Bamako. He will play football with kids of a children's centre in the village.
He is also expected to visit another village, Bougoula, 57km outside Bamako. He will be joined by Real Madrid team-mate Mahamadou Diarra to inspect facilities provided by Plan Mali. The facilities include a library, a school, two football pitches and a basketball court.
Casillas will also address the local media on the rights of the child.
Spokesman for Plan Mali, Thiekoro Coulibaly, said in a statement, "It is an honour for a top personality like Iker Casillas to visit Mali and assist in the campaign for the rights of the child."
