Trent Alexander-Arnold leaves entire room stunned with full speech in Spanish at Real Madrid unveiling

The England international was unveiled as Real Madrid's new star signing on Thursday.

Former Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold shocked the room as he made his first speech as a Real Madrid player in fluent Spanish.

On Thursday morning, Real Madrid officially unveiled Alexander-Arnold as their second signing of the summer during a presentation at the club's training ground, Real Madrid City.

During the presentation, members of the Spanish media, club officials and the Englishman's family watched a highlight reel of his time at Liverpool, before Real Madrid president Florentino Perez praised their new signing as one of the best players in the world.

Shortly after, Alexander-Arnold himself stepped up in front of the media to say his first words as a Real Madrid players, and he immediately shocked the room as he gave his speech in fluent Spanish.

Taking to the Real Madrid stage, the 26-year-old claimed that signing for Real Madrid was a dream come true and thanked the club for the opportunity to win titles.

He said: "Thank you all for this opportunity. Signing for Madrid doesn't happen every day."

"It's a dream come true. I'm really looking forward to showing my game to the Real Madrid fans."

"I'm aware of the responsibility that comes with playing here. I'm going to give it my all to show off my game and win lots of titles."

"Thank you very much, and hala Madrid!"

Before Alexander-Arnold's comments, Real Madrid president congratulated the defender for joining the club and claimed that he was one of the best in the world.

"We’ve signed a legend, one of the best in the world," Perez claimed.

"Trent’s dream has come true. You have chosen to play for Real Madrid, the biggest club in the world.”

Although it is not yet known exactly when Alexander-Arnold will make his debut for the La Liga side, it is likely that it could happen as early as June 18 during Real Madrid's Club World Cup clash against Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal.
