Van Nistelrooy: Negredo belongs back at Real Madrid

Real Madrid striker Ruud van Nistelrooy is backing the club's decision to buy back Alvaro Negredo.

Sevilla forward Negredo is wanted back by Real for season 2010/11 and Van Nistelrooy said: "I knew this. Clearly he's a player with great quality."

"Real Madrid is in his heart and he must return. During the off-season, I told Negredo that I really like his style. I've seen him train, play and score. In fact, he's showing his quality with Sevilla."

"He's a humble kid, whose heart is in Madrid and was a member of the Castilla."
