Real Madrid coach Mourinho sends 'get well' message to Barcelona rival Vilanova

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho sent a 'get well' message to Barcelona No2 Tito Vilanova over his operation yesterday.

Vilanova has undergone surgery on a salivary gland.

The pair clashed in the preseason Super Copa, but Mourinho said: "Last year, I showed my concern for Abidal's health, like everyone else did, and I do so this year for Tito Vilanova's, Barcelona's assistant coach.

"I wish he has a swift return to his family and to football, and to see him in good health on the bench here on 10 December. I will be delighted to greet him."
