Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas has congratulated goalkeeper rival Keylor Navas on his debut.
Navas was preferred to Casillas for victory over Elche.
Casillas, at a social function yesterday, said: "I’d like to congratulate my team-mate Keylor for his Bernabéu debut, well-done!"
"The team was magnificent, both in attack and defence and I’d like to highlight what Cris has achieved, as we’re not accustomed to these goal scoring accomplishments season after season, it’s not easy to score four goals in any game."
