Real Madrid have offered Spanish centre back Sergio Ramos a new contract worth up to €7.5million a season in a bid to keep one of their most coveted assets at the club according to Cadena SER.
It is understood that the offer is nowhere near enough for the defender, and Sergio Ramos is holding out for €10million a season .
Cadena SER reports that the Spanish giants will not go any higher then €8million a year and won’t be held to ransom by the 29 year old despite their determination to keep the player at the Santiago Bernabeu.
It is reported that the offer won’t be enough to convince Sergio Ramos to stay in the Spanish capital as the player is very aggrieved by the behaviour of the hierarchy at Real Madrid, and feels extremely undervalued.
The player is reportedly keen on a move to Manchester United and has been consistently liked with a deal which brings Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea to Real Madrid from Old Trafford.
