One of Zinedine Zidane’s former Real Madrid teammates has warned the World Cup winner he is risking his Bernabeu legacy.
Zizou, who replaced Rafa Benitez as manager earlier this month in what is his first top-flight coaching job , played alongside Br azilian winger Savio during his spell as a Madrid player.
And Savio, now 42, admitted that he is concerned about Zidane’s choice to take such a big role.
"It’s not a question of ability," he told UOL. "I was surprised because he’s a footballer with a massive history and an idol at Real Madrid."
