Cristiano Ronaldo would prefer Real Madrid to sign Porto striker Andre Silva over Juventus forward Paulo Dybala, according to reports.
Mundo Deportivo claims that Madrid president Florentino Perez wants to push ahead with his move for Dybala, but Silva is his back-up option if he is unable to strike a deal with Juventus.
It’s reported that Ronaldo has spoken highly of Silva’s ability and would welcome the 21-year-old’s arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Silva only made his first-team debut for Porto last January but has been an immediate hit for the Portuguese side.
So far this season, the Portugal international has scored 19 goals in 27 appearances for club and country.
Dybala, meanwhile, has seen his campaign disrupted due to a thigh injury but has four goals and two assists in 12 Serie A games this term.
