Real Madrid legend Luis Figo has urged Cristiano Ronaldo to resist offers from elsewhere and remain in the Spanish capital.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner put potential suitors on alert moments after a third successive Champions League final was secured, with ominous comments over his future.
"It was beautiful to be at Real Madrid," he said following the 3-1 win over Liverpool.
But Figo, speaking after the Madrid legends match against Arsenal on Sunday, believed Ronaldo should stay with the European champions.
"I hope that Cristiano stays like all Real Madrid fans."
"One day he will stop playing and Real Madrid will continue to be one of the best clubs in the world."
The 33-year-old is currently preparing for the World Cup in Russia as he looks to build on Portugal's shock Euro 2016 triumph.
Ronaldo and co are in Group B alongside Spain, Morocco and Iran.
