PSG and Real Madrid favourites to sign Mesut Ozil amid Unai Emery row claims

Arsenal star Mesut Ozil could leave for PSG or Real Madrid amid rumours of a bust-up with Unai Emery, according to the bookies.

Arsenal star Ozil is reportedly facing an uncertain future in north London after an explosive row with Unai Emery.

The Germany international missed yesterday’s 3-1 win over West Ham, with Emery pinning his absence on illness.

Since then, though, reports have emerged suggesting Ozil chose not to partake in the game because of a furious bust-up with his Arsenal manager.

That has now led to talk he could leave the club, despite signing a bumper £300,000 a week contract extension back in January.

And Coral think PSG and former club Real Madrid are his likeliest destinations should he opt to pursue a new challenge elsewhere.

The Ligue 1 giants lead the race at 3/1, with Real then priced at 5/1.

AC Milan and Bayern Munich have then been made available at odds of 6-1 and 8-2 to sign the 2014 World Cup winner.

And Juventus, Inter Milan and Barcelona bring up the rear at 10-1, 12-1 and 16-1 respectively.

"If the claims of a training ground bust up are correct, it would be no surprise to see Mesut Ozil leave Arsenal over the next few days and it is PSG who are top the betting to sign the German," said Coral's John Hill.

Speaking yesterday, Emery did his best to dampen talk of a bust-up between himself and his Arsenal No 10.

He said: "He was sick yesterday and we decided he shouldn't play."

"He was sick and today he was here."

"I said today come if he feels better. And he feels better and he is here."

Arsenal coped just fine without Ozil against West Ham yesterday, though.

The Gunners won 3-1 with goals from Nacho Monreal and Danny Welbeck, coupled with a Issa Diop own-goal, giving them all three points.

Ozil has won three FA Cups with Arsenal since joining from Real five years ago.
