Marcelo aims dig at Real Madrid team-mate after Roma clash

e Br azilian footballer did not hold back following Real Madrid's 2-0 win against Roma on Tuesday, which was marked by controversial decisions made by their boss.

Things at Real Madrid are not the best right now, and surely they will get worse following some harsh words by Marcelo.

One of the team's co-captains replied to an inquiry by Real Madrid TV which is set to make waves among fans and experts. That question had to do with Santiago Solari's decision to send Isco to the Stadio Olimpico seats, rather than have him around as a substitute.

Marcelo's words hint that Isco may be responsible for his current situation, since he's played less than 100 minutes since the Argentine boss was appointed.

"Well, I'm not entitled to hand out advice. We're old enough to know what we have to do, we're parents and we have responsibilities. Everyone wants to play, but you have to work for it. Every player's gone through such an ordeal, but you have to work. You have to analyze what you're doing wrong and improve. I'm not saying that he doesn't work, but it is what it is," Marcelo stated.

The Argentine and his Spanish pupil got off with the wrong foot ever since Isco decided to stay home to celebrate Halloween with his family right after being slammed by Barcelona in El Clásico. Solari summoned all of the team's players to make the trip to Melilla, but Isco refused to travel with Los Blancos' expedition.

Since then, Isco's future has been a major subject for all newspapers and football-related shows, with some pundits already hinting that the Spaniard could leave the club soon. Isco has played 78 minutes under Solari, with his highest tally in a single game being 34 minutes against Valladolid on November 3.

This is not the first incident Isco has been involved in during his time at Real Madrid. The Spanish player has been named as one of the decisions Zidane regretted the most, since he chose him over James Rodriguez as the team's playmaker. Furthermore, his relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo was not the best, as his words about the Portuguese ace's departure showed recently.

If Isco is ready to leave Real Madrid, Premier League clubs such as Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City will certainly start a war among themselves to sign this talented footballer.
