The Premier League champions are ready to trigger the Real Sociedad winger’s release clause, worth €60 million. Meanwhile, the Japanese international is also a target for Real Madrid.
Takefusa Kubo has established himself as one of the best young wingers in the world since joining Real Sociedad from Real Madrid last year. The 22-year-old did not get the opportunity to make his mark during his stint with Los Blancos. Instead, he embarked on multiple loan spells while failing to establish a foothold at the Santiago Bernabeu.
But the move to Real Sociedad has done wonders for his career. The Japanese international is enjoying a solid 2023/24 campaign thus far, chipping in with six goals and four assists in 23 appearances.
