The wheels are already in motion for Real Madrid outcast to finally leave

For new manager Xabi Alonso, he truly has an embarrassment of riches at his disposal when it comes to his Real Madrid squad.

The squad is filled with world-class players all over the pitch, not only in terms of the regular starters, but also when it comes to the bench.

The midfield and attack at Real Madrid are so deep that top-class players are sitting on the bench fighting for minutes with the guaranteed starters. There are also a number of talented youngsters on the bench, waiting for their name to be called by the manager, and this has had a major impact on one youngster in particular.

When Endrick arrived at the club from Palmeiras last summer, many had high expectations of him, given his reported €60 million price tag, but for the most part, he's had quite a tough time in the Spanish capital. He's fallen to the bottom of the pecking order under Xabi Alonso, even losing his backup striker role to Gonzalo García.

The teenager has always been determined to stay and fight for his place in the team, but that's a fight he is losing, and losing badly. The player and the club have to come to an agreement about his future and it seems a loan move in the January window is on the table, with one top European club showing the most interest in the Br azilian striker.

As being reported by Fabrizio Romano, Olympique Lyon have started talks to sign Endrick on loan in January, with an official approach being made to Real Madrid to sign the striker on loan.

The Br azilian is yet to play a single minute this season, and with one of his main goals being to make the Br azil squad for the World Cup next summer, he has finally realized that he needs to leave Real Madrid and join a club where he'll get regular playing time. Several top European clubs have been linked with loan moves for the striker, but it seems Lyon has the most concrete interest in him.

Endrick had a few shining moments last season in his debut season with the club, scoring in all of his La Liga, Copa del Rey, and Champions League debuts, but dealt with injuries towards the end of the season, which impacted his current place in the squad. He has yet to establish himself under the new manager, and with his frustrations boiling over in recent weeks, it would be in the best interest of both parties that he leave on loan in January.

At only 19 years old, he's still got his whole career ahead of him and plenty of time to eventually make an impact at Real Madrid. However he's currently wasting his crucial formative years sitting on the bench when he needs to be playing every week and with the likes of Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior starting every week.
