Emerson has scoffed at reports that he fears playing in front of Real Madrid's home fans at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The midfielder hasn't played at home for almost two months, but insists: "No (laughter), I am not scared of the Bernabeu. How can I be scared of my own stadium? For me, the word fear does not exist."
"The things that have come from the crowd in the last couple of months have left me sad, but I would never be scared of playing at the Bernabeu."
"I'm a player who has played in Germany, in Italy, with the Br azilian selecao, that is even worse pressure than Real Madrid."
He added: "It is not true that I want to leave. I have never thought about leaving because I have two years left on my contract. I do not like the situation that I am in and I want to improve to change things."
"I have two years left on my contract and I'm thinking only of succeeding in the Real Madrid shirt."
