Ronaldo tells Real Madrid to forget about Man City striker Adebayor

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has told coach Jose Mourinho to forget about signing Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

The Togo striker, 27, is desperate to seal a permanent switch to the Bernabeu after notching eight goals in 22 appearances on loan last season.

Real have just splashed out £4.5m to land Spain Under-21 striker Jose Maria Callejon from Espanyol, and Ronaldo said: "We don't need to sign another forward "

"I think we should be happy with the line-up as it already is."
