Real Madrid midfielder Thiago Pitarch has made his intentions clear regarding his international future amid growing interest from Morocco.
The young midfielder, who has been on the radar of both nations due to his dual eligibility, has publicly leaned towards Spain, making it evident where his ambitions lie at this stage of his career.
Speaking through official national team channels, Pitarch did not hesitate when addressing his long-term goals. With clarity and confidence, he stated,
"My dream? To make my debut with the senior national team and win titles," he began.
He followed that up by stating his commitment to steady growth, making it clear that his focus remains on progression rather than external noise.
"If I’m here, it’s because I want to make it to the top. Step by step," he added.
These comments arrive at a time when Morocco have been actively trying to convince him to switch allegiances.
The North African nation have made a direct effort to bring him into their setup, with Yassine Bounou even personally opening the door.
The goalkeeper made Morocco’s position very clear while speaking about Pitarch’s situation. He said, "We will always welcome him with open arms."

"I don’t really like this either. It seems like I’m the star, but I want to be just another player."
