Michel Salgado has urged Royston Drenthe to shake-off the boos coming from home Real Madrid fans.
Salgado says it's up to Drenthe to win over the Santiago Bernabeu crowd after the Dutch youngster admitted he almost broke down over his treatment on Sunday.
Real fullback Salgado said: "We know he is young, but Real Madrid is a demanding place."
"A player of Real Madrid has to prove his quality and also show he is strong mentally as a person and player. He has to find his survival instinct and show that he wants to be a player of Real Madrid."
