Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos has made an ambitious prediction ahead of Wednesday's pivotal Champions League fixture as Real Madrid host Lyon in an effort to reverse the 1-0 defeat suffered in the first leg and progress past the first knockout phase for the first time in six years.
Speaking in an interview with Spanish sports daily Marca, Ramos proclaimed: "We will win 3-0 and the fans will once again get behind the team as they did against Sevilla. We are going to live another magical night in the Bernabeu."
Ramos is expected to play in the match despite having a hematoma under the nail of a toe on his left foot. Yesterday, blood from the toe was drained by Real Madrid's medical team and in yesterday's training, the player felt enough comfort in his foot to be able to wear his boots for a light jog.
