Palacios admits Tottenham a stepping stone to Real Madrid move

Wilson Palacios admits he sees Tottenham as a stepping stone to joining Real Madrid.

The Honduran midfielder has been a key player for Redknapp's Tottenham side following his £12million move from Wigan last January.

But Palacios, 25, reckons he has bigger fish to fry.

He told The Sun: "I am really happy at Tottenham but I will continue working for a future move to a bigger club."

"I would like to play for Real Madrid."

"Today, many people respect me in England. That's because of my hard-working attitude."
