Real Madrid will not "throw in the towel", insists general manager Jorge Valdano.
After the manner of defeat to Barcelona on Saturday, Valdano knows Real supporters are angry.
"It is normal and logical, the frustration of our fans, because the expectations that had been generated around the game were the highest and our aspirations to deliver a blow to the League, legitimate," said Valdano.
"But it clearly was not the match we dreamed of ..."
"I'm going to be very clear. Neither the club nor the coach nor the staff will not be vigilant. There are 21 points to fight for and it would be immoral to throw in the towel. Real never gives up."
