Pepe unhappy with lack of progress over Real Madrid contract talks

Pepe is unsettled at Real Madrid.

Público says the Portugal defender is upset that Real have not moved to open new contract talks as he recovers from knee surgery.

Pepe's current deal expires in 2011 and he had hoped to have settled on a new deal to 2015 before now.

The situation has left Pepe frustrated and questioning whether Real management want him around next season.
