Real Madrid playmaker Van der Vaart rejects Bayern Munich approach

Real Madrid midfielder Rafael van der Vaart has dismissed interest this week from Bayern Munich and Liverpool.

The Dutchman has been linked with both clubs in recent days, but insists he is happy to stay at the Bernabeu.

"I appreciate the interest of (Bayern coach Louis) Van Gaal, but my club is Real Madrid and I want to stay here," said Van der Vaart.
