Real Madrid are interested in Benfica midfielder Axel Witsel.
Record says Real coach Jose Mourinho has been impressed by Witsel's performances this season, having only joined Benfica in the summer from Standard Liege.
Real have a close relationship with Standard and have been aware of Witsel since his junior days.
Mourinho met with super agent Jorge Mendes last Thursday and a move for the Belgium international could've been on the agenda.
