Real Madrid target Ancelotti will tell PSG he wants out

Carlo Ancelotti will ask PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi to allow him to leave in the next 48 hours.

AS says the PSG coach wants to leave Paris and will inform Al-Khelaifi of his plans before Friday.

Al-Khelaifi has already confirmed this week an approach - which has been rejected - from Real Madrid for the Italian. But Ancelotti now plans to force the issue.

Despite winning the Ligue Une title, Ancelotti feels he was undermined earlier this season when PSG were struggling for results and has lost confidence in the club's owners.

The former Chelsea manager is favourite to succeed Jose Mourinho at Real.
