Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti insists he has a good relationship with the board.
There is talk of Ancelotti being unhappy with the breakup of his La Decima squad over the summer.
"I feel like a manager who has to fix certain things, as was the case last year. This game has come at a good time so that we can react well and show what the side is doing well. To begin well in this competition is very important. We are really geared up for it like last year and we will try and win it again," he said.
"We have to get used to new players and try to play with more spontaneity. We have players who didn’t arrive until the end of August and we haven’t had much time to train with them. They need time."
