Real Madrid are inching closer to landing Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea as current number one Iker Casillas nears a switch to Roma.
De Gea has reportedly said he won't sign for Real unless he is first choice at the Bernabeu, while Casillas - whose contract runs until 2017 - is refusing to give up his spot.
Real are therefore open to offers for their current stopper, with Roma the latest club to show interest.
And Casillas, 34, appears willing to consider a switch to the Serie A after his agent responded to Roma's link.
"They are a great side and we are flattered by their interest, because Roma are one of the best clubs in Europe," agent Carlo Cutropia told LaRoma24.it.

Casillas was used as one of Real's players for their new kit launch this summer, hinting that he would remain in the Spanish capital where he has been first choice for over a decade.
But with Real locked in negotiations with United over a summer switch for De Gea, it appears Casillas' Bernabeu career is coming to an end wether he likes it or not.
