Real Madrid are ready to announce six contract extensions for players who have earned a salary raise and a longer deal. Here are the six players who will be getting new contracts, according to MARCA.
- Isco: The Spanish midfielder has been sensational ever since he became a starter during the final third of last season and his new deal will be announced soon, as he himself admitted after the UEFA Super Cup Final. His new deal is expected to expire in 2022.
-Marco Asensio: Real Madrid will give Asensio a better salary and they will also increase his release clause to €500 million so that nobody can sign the player without the team’s approval. Nobody expected Asensio to become the player he is now this soon and now it’s time for Madrid to deliver and give the player what he deserves. His new deal will expire in 2023.
- Raphael Varane: Pepe is now gone and Varane is ready to be the team’s undisputed starter in the center of the defensive line for many years to come. Varane will one day become the team’s captain. He will be under contract until 2022.
-Dani Carvajal: Real Madrid signed Danilo two years ago and the club expected the Br azilian right-back to compete with Carvajal for the starting job, although the Spanish defender ended up proving that he’s one of the world’s greatest. His new deal will expire in 2022 when he turns 30 years old.
