Real Madrid star Isco has expressed serious concerns to president Florentino Perez after the Super Cup defeat to Atletico Madrid.
Los Blancos went ahead twice against their local rivals but ended up losing the game 4-2 in Talinn, Estonia.
Karim Benzema and Sergio Ramos grabbed the goals but Isco was particularly unimpressed with one team-mate in particular.
The midfielder picked out Gareth Bale as a star he expected more from during the clash against their bitter rivals.
Bale played the entire 120 minutes and supplied the opening goal for Benzema but couldn’t find the net himself.
New Real boss Julen Lopetegui wants the Welshman to replace Cristiano Ronaldo who left for Juventus for £89m this summer.
According to Don Balon, many Real Madrid heavyweights are worried that Bale's attitude is far from ideal to be the new face of the club.
Prior to the clash in Estonia, Real boss Lopetegui said he was encouraged by the 29-year-old’s preparation for the season.
"We've found Bale really motivated, a top pro, who has trained with the motivation of a youngster," said the Spaniard.
"We're a team, the team is the main part. What he can bring to the team is his ability and mentality and we're convinced he'll have a great season."
Despite the defeat, the former Spain manager was encouraged by his Bale’s performance.
"He played very well," said the Real boss. "But at this time of the season the players are not at their best."
"We are very happy with his performance and we hope he will improve with the matches."
