Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos has made a strong start since joining the club on loan from Real Madrid.
Arsenal fans are urging a move to make Dani Ceballos’ loan deal a permanent one after his latest comments.
Ceballos told the Daily Mirror that he is where he wants to be at Arsenal currently, and that he doesn’t feel sorry for Real Madrid.
"Going to Arsenal has been a very important step in my career," Ceballos said.
"I don't feel sorry for not being in Madrid. Right now I am where I want to be and I am very happy. My idea was to go out, play and enjoy football. In the previous two years I had not done so."
The comments have raised hopes among Arsenal fans that Ceballos can be convinced to make his stay a longer term one.
And there are now many Gunners supporters who feel that Unai Emery’s side should back a move for the Spanish creator.
Ceballos has already shown his quality in an Arsenal shirt, although he is yet to really cement a permanent place in the side.
The Madrid loanee has shown flashes of brilliance, but has not always been consistent, as he adapts to life in the Premier League.
If Arsenal were to sign Ceballos he would cost a considerable fee, as Madrid were looking for £45 million for him in the summer, according to AS.
