Zinedine Zidane has dismissed any suggestion that starlet Vinicius Junior will leave Real Madrid in January despite a lack of playing time.
The Br azilian impressed during his debut campaign, but has made just four starts under Zidane so far this season.
Zidane insisted that Vinicius Junior was still important to him, but had been forced down the pecking order by the arrivals of Eden Hazard and Rodrygo in the summer.
"Vinicius is not going anywhere in January. He's staying here."
"What has changed with Vinicius is that we have Hazard and also Rodrygo and I have to choose, but he is training well."
Vinicius has contributed just one goal and one assist in 11 games so far this season for his club, as Hazard and Rodrygo have been offered more game time.
