Real Madrid make €4 million out of Diego Llorente’s transfer to Leeds

Llorente is a product of Madrid’s academy and has joined Leeds on a €20 million move.

Real Madrid are still cashing in money in this current transfer window. This time, Los Blancos have earned €4 million after Real Sociedad and Leeds United reached a €20 million agreement for the transfer of former Madrid academy player Diego Llorente.

Llorente was initially sold to Real Sociedad for €6 million and now Real Madrid made €4 million more, which is a solid amount for a player who never made an impact for the first team.

He’s definitely a solid defender, even one who could actually contribute in the current squad as the team’s fourth center-back, but Llorente made the decision to be a relevant player and it has paid off for him.

Llorente will be expected to be an undisputed starter for Leeds and it will be interesting to see how his game suits the Premier League, which is way more physical than La Liga, especially for central defenders like him.
