Real Madrid are weighing up whether to re-sign Sergio Reguilon during the summer transfer window, according to Spanish news outlet ABC.
Included within the agreement was the possibility of Real Madrid being able to buy the player back for an increased fee within a two-year period. The La Liga giants are also able to match an offer Spurs should accept for the player.
According to the report, Carlo Ancelotti is seeking competition to push current left-back Ferland Mendy for the starting position at Los Blancos with the long-serving Marcelo out of contract at the end of the season.
Reguilon came through the La Fabrica academy ranks and it would be difficult for him to likely reist the lure of heading back to the Bernabeu.
The 25-year-old has looked impressive under Antonio Conte, with his pace down the left flank and ability to put the opposition on the back foot, something which perfectly fits the Italian’s requirements from a wing-back.
