Lionel Messi 'suspicious of Kylian Mbappe at PSG' with Sergio Ramos in agreement

Lionel Messi is suspicious of Kylian Mbappe at Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports. The France international wants to leave when the transfer window reopens in January, despite only penning a new contract back in the summer. Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester United have all been linked - but there's no guarantee he'll get the move he craves.

Mbappe was widely expected to seal a move to Real Madrid back in the summer, having flirted with the La Liga giants and held talks with club president Florentino Perez.

But the France international ended up renewing his PSG contract instead, much to the amazement of the footballing world.

Mbappe was given promises over being the main man, ahead of both Messi and Neymar, with the Ligue 1 giants effectively making him their unofficial sporting director in the process.

Yet the 23-year-old is now unhappy at the Parc des Princes, believing the Qatari-owned side haven't lived up to the promises they made back in the summer.

Now, the Daily Mail claim Messi is 'suspicious' of Mbappe at the club - with former Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos also in agreement.

It's even stated Messi and Ramos, who had such an intense rivalry during their spell as La Liga rivals, have been brought 'closer' in their dislike of Mbappe.

What's more, Morocco right-back Achraf Hakimi is described as being Mbappe's only ally in the PSG dressing room - with his majority of team-mates thinking he should have left in the summer.

A source is also quoted as saying: "We hear the club some complaints within the club about his ego, (him) increasingly feeling that he is around looking for everything to be his way.

"Even some people last summer was expressing privately they were happy if he went to Madrid as things in the club would be easier."

PSG would reportedly want close to £300million to part with Mbappe - a fee that, if met, would make him the most-expensive sale in football history.
