Real Madrid not thinking about signing players in January despite injury crisis

Real Madrid haven’t had the best of starts to the ongoing international break.

The club have been dealt with a couple of injury blows, with Eduardo Camavinga and Vinicius Junior picking up fresh knocks.

They are not the only ones sidelined for Real Madrid right now, with even Jude Bellingham suffering a blow while Arda Guler has had to delay his return to the pitch.

In addition to them, Real Madrid have Eder Militao and Thibaut Courtois sidelined with long-term injuries, even though the former is speeding up his recovery.

Despite a series of injury-related setbacks this season, Real Madrid are unlikely to sign any new players in the upcoming January transfer window.

This is according to Fabrizio Romano (h/t Madrid Xtra), who suggests that the club have appeared very adamant about the idea of signing anyone in January.

It was previously reported that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is not a huge fan of the winter market. It is against his policy to reinforce the squad in the middle of the park.

This comes despite of the recent speculations linking Real Madrid with a move for various talented players across Europe.

As Real Madrid look to avoid making any investment in January, the focus would naturally shift to youth players.

The likes of Nico Paz, Edgar Pujol, Marvel and Manuel Angel are among the finest in the RM Castilla squad, which has produced a host of talents in recent years.

Paz, for one, has made tremendous growth lately and is highly rated by Real Madrid superstar Toni Kroos.

However, as Real Madrid continue to be hit with injuries, results next month could go a long way in dictating the fate of the club in the upcoming January market.
