Real Madrid entertained Osasuna at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a positive result in their La Liga season opener.
Los Blancos dominated the game in the first half but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Kylian Mbappe finally opened the goal-scoring from the penalty spot in the 51st minute. Abel Bretones was sent off by the referee in injury time as Xabi Alonso’s men ended up grinding out a solid 1-0 win in front of their home fans.

He anchored the midfield well and was not shy of having a strike at goal.

Guler was a positive influence at both ends of the field, but there was no goal for him.
