It wouldn't be a normal Real Madrid season if there wasn't some drama going on at the club, right?
It seems different reports are coming out every day about which players are unhappy with their game time or unhappy with the manager or whether or not the club backs Xabi Alonso, almost as if Real Madrid deserves the FC Hollywood moniker instead of Bayern Munich.
As with most of the news headlines surrounding Real Madrid, most of them revolve around Vinicius Jr. The Br azilian has been a hot topic as usual in the media, with a new report coming out almost every day, whether it's regarding his future at the club, his antics on the pitch, or his relationship with the manager.
As of late, it's been somewhat a mix of two topics, his future at the club and his relationship with the manager. It hasn't been all sunshine and rainbows between Vinicius and Xabi Alonso so far this season, and it's caused many to question how he really feels about Xabi Alonso and what the future looks like between the two parties.
We've been waiting for some kind of message or sign from either of the two to show what the relationship looks like between them, and during Real Madrid's most recent match, we finally got that sign. Thankfully, it's a positive sign for everyone.
As reported by Marca, and as shown during the match coverage, after providing the assist for Rodrygo's game-winning goal, Vinicius Jr ran straight to manager Xabi Alonso with the two sharing an embrace, seemingly ending any rumors of unrest between the two.
As mentioned earlier, the relationship between Vinicius and Xabi Alonso got off to somewhat of a rocky start this season due to a few instances between the two.
Vinicius was benched for two games in the early part of the season, and who could forget the Br azilian's reaction to being substituted in El Clásico back in October. Vinicius was unhappy with being taken off in that game and let Xabi Alonso know as he marched straight down the tunnel while yelling who knows what at the manager.
This blow-up caused the relationship between Vinicius and the manager to be strained for the better part of the last two months, but now it seems any unrest between the two has been squashed, with Vinicius showing his support for Xabi Alonso during the rough patch the team is in right now.
This could be the kick start for Vinicius to get back to his best form and the kick start for the club to get out of this rough patch and get back to the form they showed in the early parts of the season when everyone was firing on all cylinders.
