Real Madrid are desperate to sign Paul Pogba this summer - and they’re willing to send one of their stars to Manchester United to sweeten the deal.
Pogba was heavily linked with a switch to the Bernabeu last summer after clashing with former boss Jose Mourinho.
A move never materialised and the Frenchman has appeared much happier since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge in December.
However, Pogba could still quit the club after hinting earlier this year that it would be a dream to work with Zinedine Zidane at Real.
The La Liga giants are expected to splash out this summer as they look to bounce back from a disastrous campaign.
After snapping up Luka Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt, Zidane is keen to begin improving his midfield.
Pogba remains top of his wishlist but after costing United £89m three years ago, the 26-year-old will likely demand a huge transfer fee.
And according to Euro United, Real are preparing a stunning swap deal involving Gareth Bale.
The Welshman struggled for regular football during Zidane’s first spell in charge and it seems that trend has resumed.
Reports have suggested Bale and Zidane are not currently on speaking terms.
The 29-year-old was an unused substitute yesterday as Real slumped to a disappointing 2-0 home defeat to Real Betis in their final La Liga clash of the season.
And Bale could be offered an escape route to United if a deal can be agreed.
But the transfer could be scuppered if the winger refuses to leave.
Euro United tweeted: "Since the return of Zidane, some players are reluctant to leave Real Madrid, who is looking for a way out for Gareth Bale and has even tried to include in a deal with Pogba."
"The Welsh does not want to leave the RM for now."
Bale is yet to play for Real this month and a flurry of attacking arrivals this summer could push him even further down the pecking order.
Los Blancos have also been linked with the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Sadio Mane and Christian Eriksen.
