Chelsea plotting €80 million offer for Real Madrid player

According to reports from Spain, Chelsea are plotting an offer of around €80 million for the Real Madrid player.

With just five more days remaining of the winter transfer window, Chelsea are yet to make a major signing. The Blues have been linked with several players this month, such as Jeremy Jacquet, Douglas Luiz, and others, but they have failed to bring any of those to Stamford Bridge yet. With time running out, fans are starting to run out of hope as well. However, a new name has now been linked with the club.

According to a report from Fichajes, Chelsea plan to spend close to €80 million on signing Endrick. They view him as the ideal partner for his compatriot Estevao.

Real Madrid invested heavily in signing Endrick from Palmeiras, but he struggled to secure regular game time in the Spanish capital. He only racked up 99 minutes of action for Los Blancos across the first half of the 2025-26 season. As a result, they loaned him out to Lyon for the rest of the campaign, and it has proven to be a decision that has brought the Br azilian's career back on track.

The Br azilian has been outstanding for Lyon so far, scoring four goals and assisting once in three games. He shone at the weekend, netting a hat-trick against Metz in Ligue 1. Unsurprisingly, there have already been reports that Lyon boss Paulo Fonseca is keen to extend Endrick's six-month loan deal.

The report from Spain claims that Chelsea became interested after analysing the challenges in signing Julian Alvarez. The Argentine is being pursued by giants like PSG, Barcelona, and Arsenal as well. As a result, the club have decided to change course and prioritise Endrick, believing that signing him will be much easier.

Chelsea seem to view the Br azilian striker as an ideal partner for his former Palmeiras teammate, Estevao, who has undergone a brilliant adaptation since arriving at Stamford Bridge last summer. This positive experience encourages the club's management to repeat the strategy with another prospect from the same academy.

For Real Madrid, a £69 million bid would be difficult to turn down for a player who isn't currently in their first-team plans. As for Chelsea, they have done well to nurture young players in the past, and Endrick could develop into an asset. We are already seeing how Estevao is shining for the Blues.
