Real Madrid will face José Mourinho’s Benfica in the Champions League’s Round of 32.
The first leg will be played at the Estadio Da Luz in Lisbon on February 17th/18th, with the return leg taking place at the Santiago Bernabéu on February 24th/25th.
This will be the rematch of last Wednesday’s match between the two teams, which Benfica won in dominant fashion. The Portuguese side completely outplayed Real Madrid, shot 12 times on target in what was one of the worst performances of the season for los madridistas.
It will also be Mourinho’s return to the Santiago Bernabeu, where he spent three years in the early 2010s. Mourinho is a beloved figure in Real Madrid’s history, so he will surely receive a warm welcome by the fans.
